Timesheets.com is owned and operated by TimeclockOnline.com. No statistical data is available.
Timesheets.com offers biometric and photo ID options for employee sign in procedures. The interface is very simple and phone support is free. Non-profits may be eligible for free or reduced rate services.
The setup wizard guides users through the basic account setup process. It goes through features, company settings, hourly and project based entries, expenses, security, and data export.
The four basic functions of Timesheets.com are hourly time recording for payroll preparation, project time recording for billing or job cost analysis, recording of employee expenses, templates and storage of HR management documents.
Employee hours may be monitored by punch-in in real time or manually. Payroll is managed by calculating data as it is entered. This allows real-time info to be added to timesheets for ease of use when managing payroll later.
The Human Resources section provides documents for performance review, disciplinary action, commendation, recognition, and termination.
Performance review indicates old pay rate, new rate, and percent difference. It provides ratings for initiative, teamwork, quality and quantity of work, job knowledge, customer service, dependability, management ability, additional comments, and employee comments. Each area offers a 0-10 rating system or N/A and an area for comments.
Disciplinary Action offers date, reason, additional information, and employee comments. Commendation lists the recognition, additional information and employee comments. Termination includes reason for termination, additional information, and employee comments. These forms are very useful and will benefit employers with their ease of use.
Timesheets.com has an optional payroll service but NOT billing software or payroll service. To see if TimeSheets.com is compatible with a user’s current payroll system, review the export file types in addition to the Timesheets.com formats: E-Chx payroll format, CSV or Excel, Paychoice, TimeAmerica, or UBCC Payroll.
The Dashboard is somewhat busy and users may need time to discover all of the capabilities (such as finding the HR docs section under Employees), but once mastered, it seems like a very comprehensive tool.
Information required for registration includes company name, first and last names, email address, password, security question and answer, phone number, referral source, approximate number of users, country, state, and time zone.
Monthly pricing ranges from free for one user to $800 for 350 users. These rates are higher with Photo Timestamp option. Annual billing ranges from free for one user to $8800 for 350 users with increases for Photo Timestamp and Biometric Security. A free ten day trial is offered with no credit card necessary. The range is so diverse and basically changes in small increments, so it would be best to visit the website to view the pricing. Enterprise level pricing is available upon request.
Photo Timestamp takes a photo of each employee when they clock in to work. Works with USB webcam. Biometric Security are rental units used to identify employees when several are due to clock in at the same time.
The interface is fully customizable with the ability to enter account codes and pay rates, mileage and expenses, payroll and project reports, and much more. The interface is somewhat busy, but there is a lot of functionality.
Small businesses would benefit most from this time tracking program. The payroll prep, project timer, expense tracker, and HR management tools make this a valuable resource.
